To suggest the abolition of imprisonment
for debt in this colony will the Juuges are quite sureraise
a great deal of opposition on account of the facilities
for Debtors leaving the Colony but on general groundès
they are not opposed notwithstanding such opposition
to placing restrictions upon Creditors resorting to imprisonment for debt capriciously, vexatiously,or oppressive- lyand requiring the to get the sanction of the Coutt
before resorting to imprisonment for debt, as is now the
case in England.
